Rooms and Prices

This section is divided into a house/apartment with a number of rooms.

When you double-click on the top property, it will be your house/apartment. After that, there will be some questions you need to answer. The place has a name, and you should choose where it is located, as well as the distance and direction from the location. If you are not renting out the entire unit, you should only click "Save," which is located a bit further down.

You now need to add rooms or apartments to the property if this hasn't been done yet.

For each unit, there are a series of questions you need to answer. You can choose to indicate that you have a number of identical rooms or enter them individually.

However, it would be a good idea to list each rental unit separately, as you will have a better overview in the calendar if you do this. This should be done if, for example, the only difference between the rooms is whether they have single beds or double beds.

Each individual room must have the following information:

  • The minimum number of days it must be reserved.
  • A description of the individual room in different languages, if you wish.

Remember, the language you are working in is marked in green.

Prices

These are set up differently than in the old system, as the prices for bookings will be displayed when the guest makes a reservation. This means that the prices must be accurate; otherwise, the guest will receive an incorrect price. The prices will be automatically communicated to the guest based on the rates you have provided.

If there are no prices, the guest cannot make a reservation.

The default price must always be specified. It will be used if you have indicated seasons that do not cover the entire year or if you have made another mistake.

Adult price must be specified. You should work with a standard room. This consists of 2 people, who pay the same price per person.
Example: If you enter 200 DKK, that means 2 people will pay 2 x 200 DKK.

Child

The price is for a child aged 4 to under 13 years.
An infant price is for a child under 4 years old. The price you mention may be for a crib.

Discount

This is the price for the 3rd, 4th, 5th, or 6th person in the room.
Here, you should write the discount you offer in relation to the adult price.
Example: The first 2 cost 150 DKK per person. The 3rd person costs 100 DKK. This means you are giving a discount of 50 DKK for the 3rd person, and you should write 50 DKK as the discount.

Extra

Here, you should write the surcharge on the price if there is only 1 person in the room.
For example, if the adult price is 180 DKK and a single room costs 250 DKK, you should write 70 DKK in this section, as the one person must pay an extra 70 DKK to have the room alone.

We need to do this; otherwise, we cannot calculate the price for the guest.

If you offer fixed discounts, these should be set up under Discounts.

Breakfast

Here, you write the price for breakfast.

If you have prices in other currencies, you should select the other currency and fill in the prices in that currency, just as you do with Danish kroner.

If you only fill in prices in Danish kroner, the prices in the other currencies will be calculated.

All seasonal prices must be filled in the same way.

For seasons, you need to click yes or no, so the seasons you use for this/these rooms are marked in green where the prices are valid.

If you do not mark them in seasons, the room cannot be rented out. So this is important.

Finally, you must click "Save" to save the information.

If you later change them, you should always click "Save."
