How to write the prices. There are 6 fields for prices: Adult, Child, Infant, Discount, Extra, Breakfast. Examples are provided further down.
Room prices are calculated based on the number of fixed beds in the rooms. You can have extra beds in the room.
Adult
The price for 1 adult person.
Child
Children between 4 and 12 years old.
Infant
Children under 4 years old. No bed is counted for infants.
Discount
A discount you provide on the adult price if extra beds are used.
Extra
Additional charge if not all fixed beds are utilized.
Breakfast
The price for breakfast per person.
If you wish to receive payments in multiple currencies, you should select these currencies and enter prices for all of them. If you only choose Danish kroner, the price will be converted according to an exchange rate found in the system.
Example 1.
A room with 2 fixed beds priced at 200 DKK per adult and 2 guests are coming.
The price for the room is 2 x 200 DKK = 400 DKK.
Example 2.
A room with 2 fixed beds priced at 200 DKK per adult and only 1 guest books.
Each bed costs 200 DKK since they are fixed, but since only 1 person is staying in the room, you charge an extra 100 DKK because bed number 2 is not used.
The room, being a single room, costs 200 DKK + 100 DKK = 300 DKK.
Example 3.
A room with 2 fixed beds and 1 extra bed priced at 200 DKK per adult, with a discount of 100 DKK, and 3 guests are coming.
3 guests = 3 x 200 DKK minus discount 100 DKK = 500 DKK.
This means that an extra bed costs 200 DKK - 100 DKK = 100 DKK.
Example 4.
You have 3 fixed beds. The price is 3 x adult price. No discount is given if there is something listed in the discount field. If there is an extra bed, you should change the last bed to an extra bed instead of a fixed bed in the room. If there are 2 adults and 1 child, the calculation will be 2 x adult + 1 child.
Check if the price is correct
If you want to see how it looks from the guest's perspective, you should log in as a guest.
Find yourself and try to make a reservation to see if the price is correct.
To do this, you must be logged out as a host.
You should not click on the booking button, but just fill out the booking form and see what the price is.
